The Romanian Franchise Association has been promoting ethical franchises as well as the best practices in franchising since its inception, and its members must comply with the imposed standards and meet all the criteria aimed at creating a solid framework for the professional entrepreneurial environment.
CODE OF GOOD PRACTICE
All members will act in an ethical, honest and legal manner and will strive to follow the best commercial practices. In their relations, Franchisors and Franchisees will act in such a way as to avoid the following types of behavior that could bring significant business damage to the other party.
Franchisee
The Romanian Franchise Association encourages good relations between the franchisor and its franchisees throughout the contractual and post-contractual period. A franchisee who joins the association undertakes to respect the ethical code; at the same time, it will refrain from violating the non-competition and confidentiality clauses in the franchise contract and will respect the good reputation of the respective franchise system.
BECOME A MEMBER OF THE ROMANIAN FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION
The Romanian Franchise Association offers companies two different forms of membership.
For young and developing franchisors who do not yet meet the criteria for full membership they have the option of associate membership.
Associate membership
Associate membership is a trial membership and therefore a precursor to full membership. It is primarily aimed at young and small start-up franchise systems that are at least pilot operation.
Full membership
Franchise companies that have decided to become members of the Romanian Franchise Association are part of the quality community and benefit from the association's comprehensive commitment and numerous activities.
Full membership fee -300 Euros
Associate member fee - 200 Euros
Experts or consultants with membership status pay an annual fee of €1,000 and an additional annual fee of €100 for each additional firm contact.
Sponsors with membership status pay an annual fee of 2,000 euros.
The annual fee is due on February 1 of each year.
A one-time processing fee of €100 is due upon submission of the application for admission.
